Sterling Scholar recognizes outstanding high school seniors in areas like English, mathematics, science, social science, world languages, computer technology, skilled and technical sciences, speech/theatre arts/forensics, family and consumer sciences, visual arts, business and marketing, dance, instrumental music, and vocal performance. Winners and finalists can earn scholarships and recognition that look great on college and scholarship applications.
What to do now:
• Review category requirements and make sure your portfolio and essay are complete
• Ask a teacher or mentor to proofread your materials
• Confirm all forms are uploaded and any recommendations are submitted
• Submit before the deadline—late applications cannot be accepted

High-Priority Items:
- FAFSA is open for seniors. Most scholarships (and many grants) require a submitted FAFSA—make your FSA ID and file ASAP.
- Daniels Scholarship (Grade 12). Local opportunity recognizing character, leadership, service, academics, and need; ACT 18+, GPA 3.0+. Rolling window through Oct 17.
